On the southern coast of the island is the picturesque Plomari, famous for the production of ouzo, the traditional snacks and its hospitable inhabitants. Kalonni

Kalloni is located right in the center of the island and every year it is a field of attraction for many visitors.The harbor is like a painting,traditional caiques  colorful fishing boats

Agiassos

Agiasos is built in the interior of the island ,on the slopes of mount Olympos and is an authentic traditional village in Lesvos, keeping intact the elements of the traditional architecture.

Molyvos

On the northern edge of the island lies the Molyvos village.
Molyvos is one of the most tourist areas of Mytilini, charachterized by its aparalleled natural beauty and by the picturesque architecture.

Petra


Characteristic of the rock of the 40-meter high, dominating the area and at the top is built by Virgin Glykophilousa. The area is one of the most developed tourist destinations on the island.Petra is full of well-preserved neoclassical mansions of the 19th and 20th century with green courtyards, elaborate doors and beautiful knights. The area is one of the most touristy developed of the island. It has many restaurants and bars, but it does not affect the picturesqueness of the settlement. The beach of Petra, fully organized, is one of the most beautiful of the island

Old Archaeological Museum of Mytilene. At the neoclassical building near Mytilini Port (Customs), exposed excavations of Lesvos space. Aeolian column capitals, tombstones, coins, statues from the Archaic period.

Mytilene is connected to Athens from the port of Piraeus. In Mytilene you can also go from Agios Kirikos to Ikaria, Chios, Samos, Kavala, Lemnos, Rhodes and Thessaloniki. In Mytilene you can travel with Hellenic Seaways Blue Star Ferries and NEL Lines. Coastal routes to Mytilene are increasing during the summer season to meet the increased demand.
